Account Monitoring That Classifies Money Mules and Predicts Scams

The antswarm.ai domain now redirects to Acoru, a Madrid fraud prevention company founded in December 2023 by Pablo de la Riva Ferrezuelo and David Morán, who previously co-founded buguroo (later renamed Revelock and acquired by Feedzai in 2021). Its customers are banks and financial institutions facing authorized push payment fraud and the reimbursement mandates that come with it, including the UK regime under PS23/4 and the European rules taking shape under PSD3. The tagline it leads with is direct: classify accounts, trace mules, stop scams.

The platform monitors accounts across channels and classifies them over time rather than scoring individual transactions in isolation. That continuous classification is what surfaces money mules, which Acoru treats as the common factor behind both authorized and unauthorized fraud: if the destination account is already identifiable as a mule, the payment can be stopped before it moves. The system reads pre-fraud signals to identify likely victims while a scam is still in progress, and Consortium Manager lets participating banks share fraud intelligence without exposing customer data.

Acoru sells two deployment shapes. The scam prediction and mule classification product integrates alongside an institution's existing fraud stack, which lowers the barrier for a bank unwilling to rip out incumbent tooling; the holistic omnichannel platform is the full replacement for legacy fraud systems. The company raised roughly 4 million euros in seed funding from Adara Ventures and Athos Capital, followed by a 10 million euro Series A led by 33N Ventures in October 2025 with both seed investors participating.
