Zero Trust Access, Identity and Virtual Desktops for the Hybrid Workforce
Founded in October 2012 and headquartered in Pune, India, Accops Systems builds end-user computing and secure-access software for organisations running hybrid, remote and third-party workforces. The company reports more than 900 customers across twelve countries, concentrated in regulated sectors such as banking and financial services, healthcare, government, education, energy and IT services. Its Digital Workspace suite targets IT teams that must give employees, contractors and BYOD users controlled access to internal applications without shipping managed hardware to every location.
The platform is assembled from discrete components rather than a single agent. HySecure acts as a software-defined perimeter gateway, building per-application encrypted tunnels at layers four through seven so users reach individual applications instead of the wider network, deployed either direct-connect or reverse-connect through edge and app connectors. HyID handles multi-factor authentication and single sign-on over SAML, OAuth and RADIUS against Active Directory, LDAP, Azure AD or third-party providers. A hypervisor-agnostic virtualization layer serves shared and personal virtual desktops and published apps across VMware, Nutanix, Proxmox, Hyper-V and Azure.
Consolidation is the central pitch: one vendor covering access gateway, identity, virtualization and endpoint hardware in place of separate ZTNA, IAM and VDI purchases, which the company frames as reduced vendor sprawl and lower total cost of ownership. Surrounding capabilities include device-posture entry checks, clipboard, print and USB data-leakage controls, remote browser isolation, biometric MFA through BioAuth, mobile device management via HyMobile, and HyDesk thin clients. The vendor has been recognised in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for desktop as a service, with a channel-led go-to-market spanning more than 200 partners.
