12Port is a cybersecurity software company founded in 2024 that builds an agentless privileged access management platform covering human operators, machine identities and AI agents. The company is founder- and employee-owned, started by Mark Klinchin and Peter Senescu, who previously co-founded Xton Technologies, a PAM vendor acquired by Imprivata in 2021, and before that MetaVis Technologies, acquired by Metalogix in 2015. The platform works as a single broker sitting between every privileged identity and every target system. Administrators authenticate to 12Port rather than to the endpoint; the broker retrieves the credential from an internal vault, injects it just in time, and records the full session as video, command transcript and event stream without exposing the secret to the user. Brokering covers RDP, SSH, WinRM, HTTPS, VNC and PowerShell, while credential rotation and account reconciliation run without any endpoint agents.

Distinguishing pieces include AccessWall, which uses host-level firewall controls to block direct SSH and RDP so the broker becomes the only inbound path, and a multi-tenant design giving each tenant its own URL, backend database and authentication scheme for MSP delivery. Session Intelligence layers local machine learning for real-time anomaly detection with automated MFA re-challenge or session termination, plus optional cloud AI for forensic review. A native Model Context Protocol endpoint lets AI agents request privileged actions and receive results, never credentials.
